We are the ACM SIGCHI student body from Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology, a group of multi-disciplinary individuals doing a monographic study in the realm of applying design principles and philosophies in the space of Human Computer Interaction.
A team of diverse designers brings in different forms of ideas and motivations. With that in mind, we the students of Human-Centered Design, Visual Communication, Information Arts and Industrial Design, came together to explore ‘How might we contribute to and learn from Human Computer Interaction?’
Our Srishti SigCHI Chapter has since motivated us to both reach out and bring in realised ideas and thought processes from the world towards our own learning. Operating exclusively for educational and scientific purposes, our chapter aims to promote knowledge and interest in HCI and its applications, by building a community of learners. With this opportunity, since 4th September 2018, our chapter has served to be a provider of seminars, lectures, learning forums and networking opportunities for our peers and with experts across the computing spectrum.

As a student chapter, we aim to provide seminars, lectures, learning forums and networking opportunities with peers and experts across the computing spectrum. We collaboratively work on projects, write papers on topics of our interest with peers within India and also from around the world. Our chapter gives you an upper hand while searching for a job, internship or one can even learn a lot through ACM’s vast resources. Besides organising and hosting talks, we’ve started various initiatives as a chapter where we provide different learning opportunities to anyone interested.
